Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort has in total two unique villages - the East Village (formerly known as Kakslauttanen) and West Village (formerly known as Santa’s Resort). They are located 4 km apart from each other. The East is an original and more private village, while the West is a newer and bigger village.
There is a small complimentary shuttle bus which operates daily between both villages.
Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort has altogether over 630 beds to accommodate individuals as well as smaller and bigger groups. Total capacity in East and West village together is 64 Log cabins, 65 Glass Igloos, 83 Kelo-Glass Igloos.
At the Santa Village, guests will be met by their elf guide who walk around welcoming everyone with gingerbreads and warm drinks during the visit to the Santa Resort. A wide range of activities is offered at the resort from husky safaris to ski schools etc.
